Does Ford intend to destroy public health care?

I am shocked and angry to hear that the Doug Ford government is paying more (of my tax dollars) to private clinics than to public hospitals, for doing the same work. It would seem that their goal in government is to enrich the already rich. Why are they doing this? Are they really intent on destroying our publicly funded health-care system? Or is it that they just do not understand the system? I am puzzled. And I am angry. Kate Chung, Toronto
