Nola returns for $172 million

Right-hander Aaron Nola, one of the top pitchers on the free-agent market, re-signed with the Philadelphia Philles for $172 million (U.S.) over seven years. The 30year-old Nola has pitched at least 180 innings in five of the last six years.
