Bruins perfect 12-0-0 at home

The Boston Bruins broke the NHL record for home wins to start a season with their 12th in a row, 3-2 over the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday. The 1963-64 Chicago Blackhawks and last year’s Florida Panthers shared the old mark. Boston’s tying goal by David Krejci was originally disallowed because of goaltender interference, but the call was overturned on a coach’s challenge.
