Maskless Dr. Moore fails to walk his own talk, Nov. 19

Images of Dr. Kieran Moore and Toronto Mayor John Tory appearing unmasked in a crowded room of unmasked partiers are infuriating.

Could the hypocrisy of the two “leaders,” who, only days earlier, urged the public to mask up, be any more shameless? For Moore, this must be the end of his tenure as Ontario’s chief medical officer. He has proved himself to be no champion for public health, but, rather, a stooge of the Ford government in convincing a willing public that the stubborn pandemic was over.

Clearly, in Doug Ford’s “post-pandemic,” done-with-mandates Ontario, it’s every person for themselves.

Tough luck for children who will die for want of serious public health measures, and timely critical care,
