‘Orphan’ celebrates 10th birthday

The cult hit Canadian-made TV show “Orphan Black” turned 10 on Thursday, an occasion celebrated by AMC Networks with an announcement that all five seasons are now available on its AMC Plus streaming service.

Canadians can already access all episodes via Crave or CTV.ca

The sci-fi series debuted on March 30, 2013 and went on to accumulate critical acclaim, a passionate fandom, a Peabody Award and an Emmy Award for star Tatiana Maslany. Maslany, who has moved on to Marvel stardom as “She-Hulk,” played multiple clones in the show.

A new series is in the works, “Orphan Black: Echoes,” which takes place in the world of the original show and stars Krysten Ritter (“Jessica Jones”). It’s due to be released later this year.
